2024 — 2034
At some point in 2024, after years of enduring grueling experiences and watching my streaks of success interrupted over and over by what could only be described as the supernatural, I made a well-informed decision to dedicate the next ten years of my life to emptying myself of everything I had gathered through research and lived experience on Igbo worldview.
I committed to giving as much of myself as was humanly possible to the work of reframing and reclaiming my ancestral consciousness through the gifts my life has so benevolently, and so violently, bestowed upon me.
The reason for this decision became impossible to ignore. It was clear to me beyond all doubt that I would never be able to live life on my own terms unless I did this work. There was a supernatural factor within me that could no longer be dismissed or taken for granted. It had laid a path before me, and there were only two choices: do the work, or continue entertaining a life of unnecessary suffering. Even death did not feel like an escape. And I was not made for suffering. I had already endured more than I could bear.
So this has been, and remains, my primary focus; to continue doing the work as faithfully and effectively as I can. In committing myself to it, I have never felt more alive or more at peace.
My ultimate desire is to be forgotten—to be completely erased from memory, remade unseen and unacknowledged. This inhuman compulsion drives me to empty myself of everything that can possibly be channeled through me, until there is nothing left to carry.
